The U.S. Department of Agriculture NextGen Program has awarded 55 scholarships worth a total of $525,000 to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced its Academic All-Conference selections for volleyball, with eight University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks named to the All-Academic team. To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, be in at least their second season competing for their team and have competed on the court during the 2024 campaign. A total of 63 student-athletes received the honor.
